If your sleeping patterns are messed up or you have trouble waking up and getting started on your day, you might not be getting enough stimulation from morning light. And if you suffer from anxiety, panic and or depression, your sleeping and waking up troubles could be adding to your condition or even causing them. In this video, I describe a product called a dawn simulator or sunrise clock, which mimics the rising sun and provides your photo-receptors with the light they need to wake you up naturally and effectively. I just got it, so I can’t yet say how well it works, but consumer reviews indicate that it is a valuable tool.

Treatment For Panic Attacks—Why You Must Get Help
If you or someone you love suffers from panic anxiety disorder, then the terror, distress and discomfort are very real to you. An attack can be so severe that a person may even feel like they are going to die. Many people, when they begin to experience the symptoms associated with a disorder of this type, may believe that they are having a heart attack and end up spending time in the emergency room.
Individuals interested in an effective treatment for panic attacks will find that there are a number of available options, some which are effective and others that are not. Not every form of treatment will work for everyone and there will be some approaches to care that people simply aren’t interested in. For example, not everyone is keen on utilizing medication for the treatment of anxiety. These people are more interested in a holistic approach to care.

I’m writing my college essay on my panic attacks and how i’ve defeated them. it’s basically explaining what i’ve gone through over the last four years and how i was passionate enough about taking control of my life. i wanna end it with something powerful.
this is what i have as my ending paragraph:
She took me to the doctor who said I should talk to a counselor in order to figure out what was really the cause of my anxiety. To this day I haven’t seen a counselor because guess what? I have overcome the panic attacks. Although I still wake up during the night with some chest pains or a full on attack, I did what I set out to: I defeated something I was convinced was going to defeat me. Over the last four years, I’ve learned that if I set a goal for myself and am passionate about conquering that goal, I can do it. In this case, I was passionate about getting in control of my life again, and even though I hit a few bumps in the road, I still came out on top – just like I knew I would.
the last couple of sentences just aren’t doing it for me.. they’re so anti-climatic and unsatisfying. any ideas, help or tips? thanks guys <3
I have problems with this in general. You say you have overcome the attacks and then state that you still have attacks and chest pains. Your problem is that you are trying to address a problem from two positions. If you really don’t care and want to leave what you have, consider moving the first 5 sentences of P 2 to the end of the paragraph. But you need need to eliminate one position.
As for a closing, I think you will find this more than adequate
‘Although I sometime still wake with chest pains, over the past four years I’ve learned that if I dedicate myself to a goal and have the conviction to overcome obstacles, I will succeed.
